Hambly Screen Prints & myslef got some special attention last night in San Francisco. Print Magazine & The Creative Group has a special reception for all the California regional winners! It was very exciting to be recognized for my artwork in the design world.

so this was such an awesome event!! it was so great to finally meet Marci, Michelle & Stacey in person, plus i had a great time hanging out with CP..and Kristina's class rocked, (can't wait to finish the mini book).  i met so many great new friends, and was nice to see Tricia again (from Cocoa Daisy)...and had some free time to chat with Kah-Mei, Karen & Wendy! the inspiration rave was lots of fun!! Monique & everybody did a great job with everything...okay i wish i had more time to talk about how amazing this event was-
for now i'm just posting some pics while i regroup- i leave for Boston thursday..and have to lots to get together by then. - The inspiration book was the make n take we taught :)

 

 

getting messy

don't you love it when a projects turns out looking pretty good. so i decided to silkscreen some hambly t-shirts myself (and i recruited my boyfriend, who has never silkscreened before)...and i was really scared that were going to look really funky...here's my photoshop mock-up, and here's the real thing. considering i don't usually silkscreen on shirts, i was stoked with the way they turned out.
plus it was tons of fun to get away from the computer & get my hands full of ink:)
