so amist all the craziness with trying to find a condo & hambly, i had to make some more glass flowers for a gallery in san francisco. i wasn't planning on blowing glass for a while, i've been so busy, but since mothers day is coming up soon, they needed more flowers...it felt so great to be back in the hot shop, i missed all the smells of wood burning, the colors of the glass melting.... since i was the only one working,  i was listening to what ever music i wanted really loud- totally helps me get into a good groove....

finally

i'm a homeowner!! Zach & I made (another) offer on a place, and they accepted it!! I got the good news on saturday, this is my first place! I was jumping up and down when my agent called me. It's a condo in downtown san jose. So we will be walking distance to lots of places, the shark tank-GO SHARKS, farmers market, tons of music, art stores & great places to eat, plus next to a new trader joes. I guess it's not totally official until everything is signed...but they took down the for sale sign yesterday....i've been driving by it like once a day. i also just renewed my subscription to Domino magazine, and picked up the latest copy of Living Etc. - which is my absolute favorite home decor magazine (it's from the UK) I'm already planning what colors i'll be painting the walls...anyone else got fav magazine/places for ideas?
