i'm back from nyc....life sure moves fast there. i can't believe i'm already home. It seems like such a long time ago i was at the NYC market with my friend Cara, but it was really less than a week ago. i uploaded a bunch of new necklace designs (from the artists market) on etsy last night :)  ... the chandeliers*, birds*, owls*...
tons of inspiration in that city! it was also design week, and lots of galleries & shops were hosting different events while i was there. here's a mosaic of some of my favorite things. the pics are on flickr . -got some great ideas for home decor.....oh and i'm also now obsessed with metal!!! I was staying at my friends place in Brookyln, she works as a goldsmith (plus she's also a jewelry designer & dancer....), and just took a welding class. She is making the most creative & unique things, my favorite is her steel bed frame!...and the scraps of corregated metal she has is the coolest! i was using it to display my glass on...i think i see some welding classes in my future! her studio where she lives is also totally industrial, you have to take an elevator up to get there, where you have to shut a metal gate, & the doors open in the middle with a pulley, and you have to use manual controllers to works the elevator....loved it!!

just a little peek at the new pendants i've been making for the nyc market, this saturday...so excited for this show, i have no idea what to expect.

this is what i was doing for 1.5 hours yesterday..signing, signing & more signing papers. i find out tomorrow if the condo is really mine. everything is on schedule and looking good so far. this is a very long & emotionally draining process...i'm very excited, anxious and also really scared about owning my own place....i just can't take off and go to Europe anytime anymore....(i never did it, but i liked the idea of knowing i could)
plus now i'll be sharing it all with Zach, we are also having a huge garage sale this weekend....lots of changes happening right now

Ludicrous speed

i just installed CS3 on my mac pro, i knew is what going to be fast..but wow! what a difference from CS2! i've only been playing with photoshop so far, but as fast an i can type a key command, the program does it....
