this is what i was doing for 1.5 hours yesterday..signing, signing & more signing papers. i find out tomorrow if the condo is really mine. everything is on schedule and looking good so far. this is a very long & emotionally draining process...i'm very excited, anxious and also really scared about owning my own place....i just can't take off and go to Europe anytime anymore....(i never did it, but i liked the idea of knowing i could)
plus now i'll be sharing it all with Zach, we are also having a huge garage sale this weekend....lots of changes happening right now
Yup ,, papers are so time consuming!! It will all be worth it in the long run. Take a deep breath ,, you're just about at the finish line! {:o)

Awesome, awesome,AWESOME! It's amazing that you have to sign more papers to buy a house than you do to bring a new baby from the hospital! You will so love owning your own place! Congrats!

Congrats!!! We bought and sold something like five houses in five years, so I am right there with you with the signing. The worst was when my husband was out of the country during the process (twice!) and I had to get power of attorney for him... then I had to sign my name AND this:
"Lain Ehmann as signature in fact for John R. Ehmann" or some insane thing like that.
He also managed to be out of the country for two of the moves... leaving me with three kids, an empty house, and a moving van to deal with... hmmm... do I sense a trend here????
;)
Happy on you!
