 did you know rub-ons also work on walls?? The green designs are from rouge de garance (they are huge like 18 x 24 or something), with a mix of decals i got in New York a while ago.- i might need add a few hambly rubs soon, maybe the mod flowers or trees.

 

 

love me some new music

My good friend Jenn is just about to release her new album this week. Her voice is so amazing, so i have to share with all of you!! It's been so cool to see and hear everything she has been doing over the years - i have tapes of her singing from way back in highschool, (kinda fun fact- our Dads are also in a band together The Grateful Dads- yep kinda embarrassing, but they play good music -no grateful dead )

anyways... her CD release party is this friday night in San Francisco- for you bay area folks. She can really sing and puts on an awesome live show, i can't wait to hear the all the new music!

adorn mag & decor8

hambly just got a little mention on the decor8 blog! -i love seeing our products reach into other areas of crafting - such a cool blog too! plus the latest issue of adorn magazine uses our rub-ons in some very creative ways for home decor. my copy is MIA right now, once i find it i'll scan it in. (or check it out in the Fall 2007 issue, the chandelier lampshade and the owl bathroom accessories)

*update - my copy of adorn is no where to be found. so i won't be posting the scan until i get my hands on another copy. i hate when i lose things....

here's out booth in full swing during the day. it was a busy show for us :)
Scrap In Style tv also came by the booth to shoot a little video/webisode of us doing a demo of a journal we normally do for make-n-takes. It was a cool experience...even tough i was very nervous, and said some really silly (kinda senseless) things on film. Thank goodness Jeanette was there, she made it a lot of fun. However I did forget to use the rubs-ons during the demo, and also punched the wrong size hole with the crop-a-dile and then had a hard time finishing the book....(another trick a also learned is to tread the hairband with a bobby pin - then go through the holes in the paper to bind the book. -works much easier thanks Toni) - oh and i also really like the teal wall color, just my fav is a little different shade. (got lots of pantone colors to usually choose from)
