back from vegas

well i've had the weekend to recoup from Vegas. It's nice to be back (funny thing is i go to Vegas again this Friday for a bachelorette party...ahh) This was a great trip overall for Hambly Screen Prints and myself. Everyone loves the new product! One highlight was meeting up with Ana. She planned a dinner for a few of us, which was wonderful :)
I didn't take as many pictures as i planned but i have a few fun ones to share.  The booth also turned out great- we tried a little something new.
I also had a little hair crises right before the show, so now i'm dark brown! but i love it, it's great for fall/winter. Zach was there for the weekend, and helped set up the booth (He was putting rub-ons on the table, i was shocked he knew what they were, how to use them, and even made a very nice simple composition using the mod trees) We had dinner at the Hofbrauhaus one night. This was a great experience, I totally recommend it. I've been to the one in Munich years ago, so it was cool to see how similar they were.

reduce, reuse, recycle

this weekend, Zach and i went to Urban Ore in Berkeley. i have heard about this place for a while now,(they also go there to buy stuff for Mythbusters). It's basically a huge warehouse and parking lot filled with everything from old windows, sinks, toilets, hand-painted signs, art supplies, tiles, painted canvas and anything you would find at a garage sales, demolition sales & more. It was so cool to rummage though the place, and look for hidden treasures. It's the only time i really wish i needed a sink or door - such cool vintage pieces here. The best part is, it keeps things out of landfills. So not only do you get great one of a kind things, but it also helps keep waste down for the environment (and the prices are good too).
