Here's a fun little canvas I made using some of the my new Doily rub-ons.
It's really easy to make, and you only need a few supplies;
Doilies Rub-ons
Blank Canvas (mine is 8" x 10")
Decoupage
First cut out some of the Doilies Rub-ons are start putting them on the Canvas.
Keep putting more of the doilies on the canvas to make a nice arrangement. Alternate using the different rub-on colors. You can also layer them on top of each other, this adds some nice dimension.
I just used a popsicle stick as my rub-on tool. They will transfer on easily, but make sure they are really adhered good, you should see the canvas texture show through the rub-ons.
To protect the rub-ons use a decoupage, and paint on a thin layer over the whole canvas. Don't worry it dries clear. I used the Collage Pauge Instant Decoupage designs by Traci in matte (it also comes in glossy).
That's it - really simple and easy! I've already had some compliments on it from some friends. I can't wait to make more canvases with the other rub-on designs.
