Hopefully you guys had a chance to check out some of the links from the previous post for the Thanksgiving Blog Hop.
To me Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday where i always take some extra time and really think what i'm Thankful for. I thought it would be fun to share one my favorite Thanksgiving Traditons! Plus it's really easy, so you can still enjoy it for you Thanksgiving tomorrow. All you need it a few packages of Crescent rolls (like the one pictured below) and some white paper. Once everyone gets over to our house, each person writes on a small piece of paper what they are thankful for.
We roll up the paper, then roll the paper into crescent rolls and bake them.
Once we all sit down for Thanksgiving dinner we pass out the rolls. As each person eats their rolls and finds the note they read it out loud and we call try to guess who wrote it.
It's really entertaining! (especially when there's a big group) Over there years there have been some really funny ones, very heartfelt ones, some political ones and even some poetry! Just be careful not to eat it!Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Be sure to look at the other blogs to see what everyone else is giving thanks for!
love this al!

This is really fun! It is like how the Chinese have fortune cookies! Just that we don't write the msgs ourselves. Will definitely try this once i get my baking skills right =)
