We are happy to have our new little bundle of joy with us.
Aria was born on May 26th at 12:31pm. She weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and 21" long.
Our family of four is doing great. I had a natural un-medicated birth, and could not have done it without the support of my loving husband and wonderful doula. I'm so amazed from both of my children's births at what our bodies can do, and how quickly I can love another person more than I thought possible. I'm so happy to finally have Aria here with us, she was born about 10 days after her due date, and had us all patiently waiting for her safe arrival.
I love making hand-made gifts whenever I get the chance. Since Mother's Day is coming up, I decided to use some Craft Attitude to make these bracelets as gifts. Craft Attitude is really easy (and fun) to work with for projects like this. Be sure to enter the giveaway at the end of this post.
Print the images you want to transfer onto your Craft Attitude product. I printed out a variety of images since I wanted to make more than one bracelet. Apply glue to the bangle using the glue stick. I started buy putting it just around the outside of the bangle. Peel off the printed Wood Attitude film and smooth it around the bracelet. The film is very forgiving when using a glue stick. You can realign it if the placement is off. FYI:You will see part of the wood showing through since the printed design is transparent.Use scissors to trim some of the excess film off. Using the glue stick add a little more glue to each side of the bracelet and wrap the design around the edge for a more finished look.
That's it! Pretty easy and fun to make.
I made some extras with different patterns so I could keep a few for myself. Below is also an example of how the bracelet looks if you paint it white. I painted the wood white first for the Boardwalk pics design to have the images look brighter. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. I can't express how much I love using the Craft Attitude products! The links below are for the other blog hop projects using Craft Attitude. Be sure to check out their projects (and giveaways).
