Creative Spaces Vol. 2

Before all the CHA maddness starts (which to be honest it all ready has)- I wanted to post about this very special magazine issue. I was lucky enough to have my creative space at Hambly Studios featured in Creative Spaces Vol. 1.

This is Megan Hoeppner's special project, and she is such a doll to work with. I was excited when I heard she was working on Creative Spaces Vol. 2 which went on sale yesterday.

VOUGE Patterns

We don't normally post some of the press we get,  but we thought this was really fun! VOGUE Patterns, a sewing magazine featured our rub-ons & sewing stickers as editors choice. It's a great to see our Hambly products shown in a new magazine!  Plus it's cool they have a picture of the rub-ons on the DIY Bangles. This is an easy & popular project if you haven't tried it yet.  (You can see a video half-way down in this previous post from CHA)

Hambly Article

This is pretty cool! The SF Examiner contacted me and asked a bunch of questions for an article being featured about Hambly!! You can read the entire article on their website. It's so cool to get some local press- not everyone knows Hambly Studios is in the Bay Area. There's also some interesting facts in the article & a fun slideshow!

This month Country Living Magazine has a project remake featuring the our rub-ons (these are my favorite one I have designed so far). It pretty cool, they put the Elegant Label rub-ons on glass bottles, and just used a sharpie to write on the inside. So Vinatge and clean looking!

I created a tutorial for the pillow i made with the Hambly rub-ons- it's posted over on the MMM website. I know a few of you were asking about the pillows.

I forgot to post these from a while back... They are from the fall issue of Adorn Magazine. It's cool to see how they used the Chandelier rub-ons for the lamp shade, and the Out on a Limb rubs for some bathroom accessories.  Adorn is such an inspiration magazine- lots of great ideas in there. Anyone else have unique ideas for different home decor projects, or different ways to use our rubs-ons??

adorn mag & decor8

hambly just got a little mention on the decor8 blog! -i love seeing our products reach into other areas of crafting - such a cool blog too! plus the latest issue of adorn magazine uses our rub-ons in some very creative ways for home decor. my copy is MIA right now, once i find it i'll scan it in. (or check it out in the Fall 2007 issue, the chandelier lampshade and the owl bathroom accessories)

*update - my copy of adorn is no where to be found. so i won't be posting the scan until i get my hands on another copy. i hate when i lose things....

Print Magazine

Hambly Screen Prints & myslef got some special attention last night in San Francisco. Print Magazine & The Creative Group has a special reception for all the California regional winners! It was very exciting to be recognized for my artwork in the design world.
